The manner Pillayan stood at BIA to welcome Basil

The former Minister of economic development Basil Rajapaksa who fled Sri Lanka to USA the

day after the presidential election without notice has been greeted by supporters at the BIA when he returned today afternoon.

The former Chief Minister of the Eastern province Pillayan had been present at the airport to greet his great pal Basil Rajapaksa. Basil Rajapaksa had given billions of rupees for development of Eastern Navodaya to Pillayan who had been close associates for a long time.
