Shashindra quizzed at Financial Frauds Investigation Unit on CHOGM luxury buses

The former Chief Minister of the Uva province Shashindra Rajapaksa is being questioned at the

financial frauds investigation unit for questioning on the luxury buses imported for the Commonwealth summit held in Sri Lanka. This was revealed by the police media spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara.

These buses had been imported in the year 2013 for the Commonwealth Heads of Governments Meeting held in Sri Lanka. One of these buses had been misused by Sashindra Rajapaksa for pleasure trips of the family members of the Shashindra. A petition had been received by the police financial frauds investigations unit with the related photographs.

Within the bus it is learnt that there is pantry, a wash room, toilet, a sofa, beds air conditioner, and refrigerator.
