Lankans in Yemen to Bahrain Owing to the prevailing war situation in Yemen the Sri Lankans employed in Yemen, with the assistance and intervention of the Chinese Embassy 39 displaced Sri Lankan refugees have been safely evacuated to Bahrain.
A foreign ministry official had extracted the news from the ‘Shinhwa’ broadcast in Korea that they had been evacuated very safely on the 04th instant. However it has been revealed that 08 Sri Lankan had arrived at Djibouti city through a perilous journey via the seacoast on the 03rd instant.
It had also been revealed by the Bahrain governmental sources that all Sri Lankan refugees would be very soon flown back to Sri Lanka.
