The  first knock out Quarter final  match in the ICC cricket world cup 2015 between Sri Lanka

and South Africa was under way as a a d/n encounter at the Sidney cricket grounds.Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat and were all out for a paltry133 runs in 37.2 overs.Kumar Sangakkara who notched up 4 consecutive centuries in the previou phase 1, preliminary round matches top scored  again with 45 runs in a very subdued inning.
