Police informs courts that Wele Suda’s documents pertaining to investigations made are missing

Instructions had been given to the Colombo courts

Mount Lavinia division Senior Superintendent of Police pertaining to investigation documents of Samantha Kumara alias Wele Suda which have been found was advised to furnish a report on missing documents by the state council appearing for the case of drugs king. This was ordered to be investigated when the case against Wele Suda was heard yesterday the 16th.

Accordingly the related Senior Superintendent of Police had been advised to submit this report to the Magistrate of Colombo High Courts, Lalith Wijesuriya on the 18th instant when the case is heard. Wele Suda has been accused of having had in his possession of 6.5 grams of heroin drug.

In the meantime the crime investigation unit had informed the Magistrate that the suspect would not be able to be produced in courts for which the Magistrate had acceded to the request.
