JVP to join at Hakeem's residence with representatives of minority parties to dicuss on proposed electoral reforms
All minorities parties in Sri Lanka are to be summoned on the 16th instant at around 7.00
pm to Minister of Urban development, Water supply & drainage board, Rauff Hakeem's residence where a meeting is arranged to be held to discuss at length about the electoral reforms that have been proposed and particularly to have their views and suggestions if any.
It is reliable learnt that representatives of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna would also attend this meeting to obtain their views and suggestions.This meeting is to be vital for all minority parties and their views would come in very useful as it would be discussed at length whether the propsed changes to the present electoral reforms would be disadvantageous to them when the next general elections are held.
