The protest brought forward against Minister Mr. John Amaratunga these days by the Opposition
based on the incident of the Wattala Provincial Council is expected to be taken up at the parliament Party Leader assembly.

It is learned that the subject of Public Order under Minister John Amaratunga designated under the ministries be removed and be taken under the control of the President as requested from the President by the group of SLFP parliamentarians; as such, it is expected that the no confidence motion be not brought forward against him and to refrain from a debate whereby he gets the opportunity of rectifying his mistake. 

While there was ample opportunity for the parliamentary debate to take place today (10), parliamentary sources say that in the presence of these changes its outlook could itself take a different look.
