A donation of 10 million from Anura Senanayaka to the Police!

Senior Superintendent of Police Anura Senanayaka has donated a sum of Rs. 10 million to the Police Seva Vanitha Unit. He has also made a request

asking that this donation be utilised to build houses for police employees. He has mentioned that he has earned this money from the music show 'Mage Kirilli' and from his CD cassettes; that this monies is a donation for police employees' welfare. The donation was given at the Deputy General of Police office. Several singers too attended the occasion. He had desired to contribute Rs. one lakh to singer Namal Udugama who is ailing at present and this donation to the singer was accepted by Mr. Rohana Weerasingha on behalf of Namal.
