CID investigations on fake passport of Wimal's wife!

Born in 1967 in one .... born in 1971 in other!

The CID has begun investigations on the passport of Mrs. Sashi Weerawansha, wife of former Minister Wimal Weerawansha. The allegation against her is that she has

provided false information for this passport. In both these instances she has used 1967 for one passport and 1971 for the other.

Even information provided in the marriage certificate too are different.  The reason for this investigation is that the information given for her passport and the other, the Diplomat passport are contradictory.

Shirja Udayanthi Weerawansha is the name that appears in her normal passport made on 24th May in the year 2004 while her date of birth is mentioned as 1967-02-01. Her national identity card No. appears as 675320233v and the address as A/9, Manthri Nivasa, Madiwela.

Whatever it is, her name is mentioned as Randunu Mudiyanselage Shehasa Ranasinghe in the diplomat passport made on 13th September in the year 2010 and her date of birth appears as 1971-02-03.  No. 715344696v appears as her National Identity Card No. The address mentioned too is that which is different from the aforementioned address.
