How Gotabaya - Champika are lighting the lamp with same candle

Secretary of Defence Gotabaya Rajapaksha and former Minister Champika Ranawaka as invitees at a function at the hall of Maharagama Tharuna Seva Sabhava yesterday had to go to one and the same place to attend to the task of lighting of the oil lamp.

The two of them who are heading in two different directions in the political field happened to avoid each other's faces and how they lit the oil lamp is seen from this photo below.

This ceremony was held to bestow the title of the Sanghanayaka Thero in Colombo District to Nugegoda Siridhammaramadhipathi Rathanajothi Thero.
