Indrajith Nawinna at home .... subjected to a neurological disorder

Popular tele-drama artiste Indrajith Nawinna is presently suffering from a neurological disorder and is spending his time in his home in Nikaweratiya in Kurunegala, away from all work connected to the field of Arts.
The neurological disorder had begun about 3 years ago and it has made his memory weak for which reason he has had to relinquish his activities in acting.

Indrajith who played a role in Beddegedera tele-drama which was based on polyandry that subsequently became a topic of the day has further given life to over hundred tele-dramas including Niranandaya, Dhawala Raathriya and a number of films, in most instances in the form of genuine folk characters.

He is someone who joined the public stage and films after displaying his prowess in school stage shows in Nikaweratiya. He is being looked after by his wife and children.

This is how his wife Lakshmi explained Indrajith's condition: "Now it's about 3 years after he fell sick. He had no diabetes, pressure; but he suddenly forgets everything. Doctors said that it is a neurological disorder and gave medicine. It can't be understood how he fell into this condition. When he walks a short distance, he begins to pant.... falls down. So in that condition he can't go for acting activities no".
