The Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasingha brought together everyone in the UNP who is supposed to be on the bad books of the Party to the Uva Provincial Council election stage and made an aggressive speech day-before-yesterday saying that he has no children and because of that he has no necessity to fill his pockets and collect money.
The aggressive speech which he made is as follows: "What I want is to fill your pockets. There's no point in filling my pockets. I have no children. What I want is to fill your pockets. That's why I accepted the President's challenge, telling that all UNPers are there on one and the same stage. Hiran Fernando was there on the stage. Sajith Premadasa was there. I propose his name as Deputy Leader. What we want is a UNP regime. It must be established. Nobody can stop it. Nobody can stop UNP coming into power.
