Ukrainian madness in Welikada prison

Ukrainian girl goes mad in Welikada .... because of lack of drugs .... has shouted in Sinhala     

It is reported that the girl Yana Brishiana the Ukrainian national who was sentenced to death recently by court over the murder of a child was playing hell at Welikada Prison because she is addicted to narcotics.
While she is being detained at the women's section at Welikada prison on suspicion of murder for a period of 4 years from the year 2010, the other accused, her husband too is under detention for the same reason. In the initial stages she had befriended a Sinhala TV model who had appeared in a TV commercial, over an offence relating to drugs.

This model who was seriously addicted to drugs had familiarized the  foreign friend of hers, Brishiana while frequently getting down drugs to the prison.

The court summoned both of them and the verdict was given as the death penalty to this Ukranian couple. As such, since she was once again sent to Welikada, she had been detained in a special cell allocated for those sentenced to death. Since the relaxed rules at the prison so far in operation as a suspect were dismissed, she had been unable to secure drugs as she did previously. As a result, prison sources report that she had been behaving in an insane manner during the past few days.

Employees say that she had been shouting out in Sinhala saying, "Math kudu tikak one .... genath diyo!" She had lost the companionship she had with the TV model; just as much as the addiction to drugs during the past 4 years, it is said that she had been able to learn Sinhala too in the process.
