Shanudrie's future ambition

My future hope is to stay at home like mother .... to become a housewife
The answer received from from any student sitting for the A/L exam as to what his or her hopes for the future is different from the answer received from Priyasad Shanudrie,who is the youngest in the family and who is appearing for her A/Ls this time.

What she has chosen as the most important thing in her life for the future is the dream of living as a housewife by staying at home.



She revealed her ambitions to a weekend newspaper interview. Shanudrie will be writing for her A/Ls next month in the Commerce stream.

* What is your latest creation?
  My latest song is 'Oba adarei'. Its music is from Sanjula Himal aiyya. This is the first song which I can call my own.

* Now .... is the song over the air?
  I did a video on the song. Because of school-work, work on the video got a bit delayed.

* What are the other creations by you?
  Onna babo, Kulakumariya, Tikiri hapannu, Rosa kele, Rahai jeewithe, Sandagiri pawwa, Yaaya hathara, Dedunnak paayala, Angara dangara. I am starring in a film also these days.

* How do you attend to your studies while involved in the Field of Arts?
  There of course is no problem from school. I am balancing all the work. I arrange shooting in a way that I don't miss school-work.

* What are your future hopes?
  I am going forward in both fields like acting and singing. But I like to stay at home like my mother. My mother is a housewife. If I can't be like that .... I want to be a Montessori teacher.
