Based on news published in a website recently that Minister Mervin Silva about a story that he is to buy a house in America, he has given a reply today.


What he said was that since he had inherited a large sum of wealth from his father who had been a popular businessman he could do something like this and that nobody should make it an issue. 

This is what he had to say about it: "I saw over the web that I had gone to buy a house worth millions. I ask those culprits who published that news item, why the hell can't I by houses? My father is a well-known businessman in Beliatta. So why can't I buy houses in America? I am telling the media .... not one house .... I'll buy houses all over the world!"
