Suraj Mapa's obscene SMS

SMS that came to tele-actor Suraj Mapa

     Popular tele-actor Suraj Mapa is to participate as a competitor in the Finals of the Derana City of Dance next week.

     In the meantime, he has had to face anonymous SMS threats from unknown sources. Suraj told GossipLanka that those who are jealous of him are trying to see that he 'comes down' from his achievements and is harassing him across SMS and that someone who is unable to bear up his march forward is spreading these SMS to him as well as his friends.

     Prior to this, Suraj had complained to Mirihana police about a person who sent him SMS, after which the police were able to track the culprit by checking on the data of telephone companies. However, he had not divulged to the police as to who provided the advice in that connection. Because Suraj did not want to pursue the matter any further, he therefore had refrained from taking any legal action. Suraj now suspects whether it is the same individual who has begun to harass him once more.

     What Suraj says is that he is involved in practice sessions these days and is not prepared to go behind the police; but that he wishes to expose this to the public.
