Sri Lanka shines in Beijing, China

Information on Sri Lanka ...in buses in China

    Steps were taken a few days ago in China to run 200 Chinese buses painted in colour under various themes with the motive of promoting tourism of Sri Lanka in China. It is reported that these buses  had been on the run for about 6 months in cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Chendu and Guanshow. Steps had also been taken to display cutouts in a number of prominent locations in China as a part of creating an interest among the Chinese public to visit Sri Lanka as tourists under this propaganda programme. Minister Fowzie and Minister Punchi Nilame graced the opening ceremony.
