Kottawa principal harassed by prison inmates

A rag in prison for Kottawa principal ....
 fallen on floor, with phlegm dripping from nose!

     Principal of Kottawa Ananda Vidyalaya, G.G. Dharmadasa who is now in jail for having tried to take a sexual bribe from a mother who wanted to admit her son to grade 1 last week was caught red-handed in a room of a hotel, has  had to face a rag from prison inmates, it is reported. Once he was admitted to jail, past pupils whom he had chased away from school by him had encountered him there and they have taken a leading hand in the rag.

     It is also reported that the inmates had poked fun at him saying, "aren't you a principal yakko  .... aren't you ashamed to go behind mothers!"

     This 'age-old' principal was 57 years old and had only a few years to retire. The inmates had addressed him as 'naakiya'. Though he had been subjected to harassment by inmates from time to time, jailors were unaware of these happenings.

     When the principal was found lying on the floor, dripping with phlegm from his nose within the cell, the jailors had taken him to the prison hospital doctor; but he had said that the person was not suffering from any ailment whatsoever. As such, it is reported that he had been sent back to the same cell.

     It was reported that prior to this, Ruwanwelle Sobhitha thero who was jailed and suspect Sakvithi Ranasingha suffered a similar fate within the prison.
