ACTRESS JIAH KHAN COMMITS SUICIDE

25 year old Bollywood actress .... hangs herself in her house

     The news that rocked Mumbai in India this morning was the suicide of 25 year old attractive Bollywood actress Jiah Khan.

     She lived with her mother in Juhu in Mumbai and had committed suicide by hanging herself from a rope tied to the ceiling fan in her room. The reason for suicide is still not known.

    Jiah Khan and her mother had lived on the first floor of Sagar Sangeeth apartment facing the bungalow of Amithab Bachan in Mumbai. On Monday, the day of the incident, a sister of Jiah had visited them and the mother had gone out with her. Jiah had spent the night alone. It is still not clear whether the suicide had actually taken place or whether she was murdered and later left her hanging there. The police are conducting investigations about those who had come and gone to her house that night and phone calls she had received.

    Police have uncovered information that Jiah had received the last phone call half-an-hour before 11.30 at which time she had died.

   As a result, a doubt has arisen by Tuesday evening whether the reason for suicide was related to the love affair, and the police who are inquiring into the matter had summoned Suraj Pancholi, supposed to be the lover to contact the police to be questioned. Suraj happens to be the Son of Hindi actor Aditya Pancholi.

   The Indian CID has found no reference to suicide in Jiah's data files on her phone nor in the data of her laptop which was subject to special scrutiny by evening; therefore the death still remains a mystery.

   Jiah Khan who embarked on the silver screen of Bollywood acting with Amithab Bachan in the film Nishabdh in 2007, later acted in films such as Gajini and Houseful.
