Sakvithi Ranasinghe the unpopular English tuition master who was in remand for having cheated a sum of 1,050 million rupees from over 3,000 depositors was released today when produced before Nugegoda Magistrate Ajith M.Masinghe. The Magistrate ordered that he be released on a cash bail of 5 lakhs of rupees and 2 personal bonds of 50 lakhs of rupees. This release was on the condition that he was to present himself at the CID once a month.
