MY BABY WILL BE BORN IN FRANCE - PABODA

A few days ago tele-actress Paboda Sandeepani left the island. That was to give birth to her first baby in France. Popular actress Geetha Kanthi Jayakody is Paboda's mother while her father, somewhat in the background, is in France. Paboda left to France last 18th. Prior to that she had a dialogue with the newspaper.

     Will you be in France till you give birth to your baby?
      Yes, that's how I have planned.

      Why do you think of making the journey alone?
      There are a few more months for the birth of my baby. Because of     that Sidath can't accompany me and stay there till that period is over no ..... He has his job. So he stayed back in Sri Lanka. But when it's time for me to deliver the baby, he'll come to where I am.

     Any idea of settling down in France?
     No ... no ... (smiling) ... a few months after the baby is born, I'll come back home.

    After that, any hopes of getting back to acting?
    The problem is to find extra time when I set aside time for my baby. But of course I won't keep away from acting entirely as such. I'll at least make my choice and get back to acting.

    How did the last two three months pass when you were with baby?
    Time passed as usual. It is Sidath's mother who took the upper-hand in all domestic activities including cooking. But I myself didn't keep away as such. The doctor's advice too was not to idle ... no. I too joined in the day-to-day activities in the usual way.

    Some parents like the first baby to be a baby boy while others prefer a baby girl.
    I of course have no distinction whether I'll get a baby boy or baby girl. But what Sidath says is that he likes a baby boy. However, I have noticed that he likes a baby girl.
