U.S. EMBASSY IN SRI LANKA CELEBRATES EARTH DAY

American consulate searched for garbage in Sri Lanka for Earth Day

In order to commemorate the International Earth Day which fell yesterday (22), Michelle Season, Consulate for America had got together with 40 others of her staff and reminisced the Day by offering her contribution by collecting garbage in Galle Face Green. Earth Day originated in 1970 in America as a concept of Gaylord Nelson, a senate member.
