ANOTHER SECRET BUNKER OF PRABHAKARAN

Another secret bunker of Prabhakaran in Kilinochchi from where he sent his children to school, where air missiles were hidden, revealed

     The government Terrorist Intelligence Investigations Unit and the Army have been able to discover a bunker in the Uruththapuram area in Kilinochchi. It has many bends and and is 150 feet long and is suspected to have been used by the deceased Tiger leader to conceal missiles used for attacking airplanes.

     According to the information found by the Intelligence Unit after about 10 feet of excavation, a flight of steps has emerged along which they have proceeded.  The Security Forces have discovered a wooden box which had been used to store missiles used to target airplanes. These have been located in the first cubicle which surfaced close to the flight of steps. According to the Intelligence Unit, excavations have begun to bring to surface the entire bunker which is 150 feet long and the Security Forces believe that airplane missiles had been stored there.

     When the SL Air Force attacked this bunker in the year 2007, Prabhakaran had left the bunker and fled.  It is reported that this underground bunker had been built in 2004 bordering the side of a house in the area and in a manner that it could not be seen by the public. It was revealed that the bunker consists of two stories and had been constructed of two stories and had been constructed so that even a vehicle could be driven in.

     Excavations have been begun on March 22nd by the Intelligence Unit of the Security Forces in order to bring the bunker to the surface. It was also revealed that excavations are still being carried out amidst difficulties that have arisen because of the rains that are experienced in the Northern Province these days.
