“I have received a letter three days before this incident took place. It was addressed to me inviting me to a ceremony of Divi Neguma and it also said that I will be awarded with a donation. I was very happy about it and was ready to go. I went by bus and was waiting in Kurunegala. When I was walking in the town, a gentleman came towards me; He asked me whether I am Dassanayake. I was stopped by him and he said that he too is going for the meeting and he invited me to go with him in his van. Then I got into his van and it was a white van. Just as I closed its door, two people pulled me backwards. They told me not to move and they tied my hands. They asked me the recipe of my products. I told them that I don’t know because I am a mason but they didn’t believe me.
Then, I told them to bring flour so that I can show them how to make biscuits according to my recipe. They dropped me on the way only after they got the recipe and got all information how it should be made from me.”
