BOWSER OVERTUNRS AT NAWALA

The driver of the ‘Bowser’ had fallen asleep on the wheel
today along Nawala road this morning had knocked down a lamp post and a transformer had fallen on it.

Office workers had been delayed to report for work:

Today morning during busy office hours along Nawala road a 40 foot ‘Bowser’ as a result of the driver falling asleep had knocked a lamp post and had overturned across the road. A transformer too had got detached and had fallen on the ‘Bowser’. The driver had been taken out by the Police and had admitted him to hospital.
This had caused during severe traffic hours when office workers were rushing for work. The traffic block had been along Nawala Raod, Nugegoda and Pita- kotte areas. The office workers who were travelling along these routes had been subjected to a severe traffic jam and had been able to report for duty quite late.
