Dharmasiri has been the mastermind behind all 6 murders at Kahawatta

The Police had been successful in finding the mastermind behind the murders at Kahawatta

The Police have revealed that the mastermind behind all these murders to be Dharmasiri who had been the coordinating Secretary to the minister John Seneviratne. He had been caught as a suspect for the dual murder of Kavindya and her mother in order to hide about his illegal drug dealing. Police have been able to reveal that he had been related to other murders as well.

The other two murders have been done purposely to show that there is a trend of murders taking place at Kahawatta. The murderer had planned this to show the Police that there have been murders even after the murder of Kavindya and her mother.

The mastermind of the plan, Dharmasiri had launched this plan while been in the prison. He had given contracts to get the murders in order to distract the Police. It has been revealed that five people are related to these murders.

Thus, the murders of the siblings Sethunge Dayawathie(61 years) and Sethunge Thilakawathie(52 years) on the 31st of May and the murders of the mother U.D Premawathie and the daughter M.P Pushpa Kumari on the 18th of June had been done by the same group of people. It was revealed that the siblings had been raped and killed and the mother and the daughter had been killed and raped afterwards. It had not yet been revealed as to how much has been paid for the contractors for the murders.

The mastermind Dharmasiri had been caught during the investigations on the final murder. The relative of the 32 year old daughter and her mother had been suspected for their murders. But it was revealed that a labourer who had been having hopes about Pushpa had come to her house with some supporters to do the murders. They have murdered the women and raped them afterwards. They have been forced to do this by Dharmasiri.

The person who had been imprisoned as a suspect of these murders has confessed. The other two suspects are still in hiding and the police had been able to find 6 people who have been involved into these murders due to the confessions. Dharmasiri who has been imprisoned for the dual murders of Kavindya and her mother had planned this shrewdly to distract the Police by showing that mysterious deaths have been taking place at Kahawatta. By this they would have expected the others to think that they are innocent.

Yet the truth has been revealed and the Police are expecting to catch the relevant convicts.
