AKMEEMANA MANUJA MEETS HIS PAST WIFE

Akmeemana Manuja who talks about his past life

Manuja had remembered his past life after meeting his wife

We brought you the story of Akmeemana Manuja who talks about his past life. Afterwards, he went to Udugama but couldn’t meet the wife of his past life. Wife of his past life had been living with one of her sons in Ambalangoda. The other son lives in Colombo. Manuja could meet the sons of his previous life during his last visit.
His wife had been W. G Yamuna Chandani who is now 43 years old. She didn’t believe that her dead husband had been born again. When she heard this story, she had told that it is such a false story. To see whether it was true, Yamuna Chandani had visited Manuja at Akmeemana, Katandola.
Yamuna had carried one of the albums with her. When they have got off the van, Manuja had run into the house shouting: “Those brothers are coming”. He had called brother for the only brother Sunil Hettigamage he had in his past life. He had identified his brother even before he stepped into the house.
When his sons and his wife entered the house, Manuja had been looking at them with a heart full of love and attachment. They were spiritually attached to them. Manuja had been looking at the sons of his previous birth with eyes full of love.
Yamuna spoke to Manuja nad after a while she showed the album she had brought. There was a photograph taken on the day of Udaya Kelum’s funeral. That had been taken when Udaya kelum’s coffin had been carried out if the house.
Yamuna asked Manuja “Son, tell me whether you are in this picture?” He looked at the photograph and told her at once: “I am inside that coffin.” Yamuna couldn’t believe her ears. Then she showed him another photograph taken of her and Udaya Kelum which had been taken in a garden.
He touched the photograph and pointed at Udaya Kelum and told her that it’s him. Then she asked as to who the other person was. All of a sudden he said: “Who else? It’s you”. Not only, that he reminded another story which made Yamuna feel a bit sad.
Manuja told Yamuna: “How ugly is that black thing”. This brought tears to Yamuna’s eyes.
Yamuna said: “He used to drag that to annoy me. This really is my husband from his previous birth. He couldn’t recall my name. He was a good driver. He was living there in Riyadh for about 3 years and 6 months. He had paid to go back again. He said that he will work for his sisters to find money till he goes back. Not only that but she also told us as to how they met each other.
I am Amabalangoda, Piniduwa. I worked in a garment factory in Colombo. Udaya kelum did business in Pettah. One day Udaya was seated next to me in the bus. He gave me a chit in which he had written his address. That is how we met and it ended in marriage. Manuja had been telling that he had three houses and we asked about this from Yamuna.
Yamuna said that it was true. “Those days Udaya had houses in Batapola, Piniduwa and Padukka. On the day, Udaya passed away, I was at Batapola with my sons. I couldn’t sleep properly. The whole house was lit as I couldn’t rest my eyes in sleep. Some insects bothered me and they ran all over my body.
His horoscope said that he was going through the period of Saturn and it was very bad for him. Actually I will be the happiest if this child were born into our family. Manuja’s sons of his past life are 21 year old Sampath and 18 year old Dinushan. A smile was drawn on Manuja’s face when he saw his sons. He asked them to follow him into a room and asked the others not to come. The story told by him was dictated to us by his second son Dinushan.
I was told that you two cried when I passed away and that one of you was in grade 2 and the other in grade 4. We bought two toy cars from Manuja. He took them and showed us as to how the accident took place. He told us that the accident was caused by “Sooppuwa”. He told us that Sooppuwa drove fast like a donkey. Sooppuwa who drove fast asked me as to how we can over take the blue tipper. He told us that he would have been old and that he will be living with us if he hadn’t died.
He also told us how he used to give a ride to his eldest son in his three-wheeler. He asked whether he can remember how he scolded his eldest son calling him “donkey”.  This reminded Ashan of his past. Ashan remembered how his father took him on a ride by the three-wheeler and how he scolded him for turning the steering wheel.
We asked them as to who Manuja referred to by “Sooppuwa”.  Ashan showed us a youth. Manuja just looked at him but he didn’t speak to him.
He who was called AG Sampath (31 years old) told us the following story:
“This is our uncle. On that day, when I was coming from Galle towards Udugama, I saw his tipper. He asked whether I would like to come with them. Then I turned back and followed their vehicle. Then they overtook me and their vehicle went on a stone and it turned upside down. Hichchi mama called me Sooppuwa.”
When Sampath was telling us this story, Manuja went near Sudu Nona and murmured something. At one time, he hugged his sons.
His only brother was Sunil Hettigamage. Manuja told him “You cried like an idiot the day I died.” Manuja told that someone was missing and the seeing Sunil’s wife he said that he had mentioned about her.
Sunil told that his daughter has seen Udaya after the death lighting a cigarette. His daughter has seen him several times after his death. Another interesting thing happened. A guy who has worked with Udaya too had come to visit Manuja. Manuja had called him “Natta” and that youth told us that Udaya had been used to call him so.
Manuja, in his previous had been born 29.11.1965. He had passed away 26.08.2001. Manuja had been born 27.10.2005. Where was Manuja till he was born? We asked him and he told us that he was in a hole. I met my mother in Katalandola. He told that he was carried out by the wind and that he met his mother.
