TRAFFIC DOG AT INGURUKADE JUNCTION

A dog “SUDDA” directs traffic at Ingurukade junction:

The relationship between the dog and the human being had existed for long period of time. The Sunday’s Divaina newspaper has reported and divulged this information through an article. How a dog “Sudda” assists the traffic policemen in a peculiar story.
This familiar sight is seen near the Grandpass Police station. The daily routine of this dog is to stand by the side of the traffic Policemen. If anyone tries to be funny with them he is in the habit of attacking them. He is also in the habit of chasing behind speeding vehicles. The dog has no uniform, no stars and belts. The Police personnel always talk to “Sudda”.
It is a common site for the dog to be by the side of the traffic Policemen until they complete their duties. He lives close to the Police Traffic office of the Grandpass Police station and had been there for the past two years. It is learnt that the dog is a vegetarian and loves to eat cakes, buns and ‘spunchies’. The dog identifies the Policemen by the white belts they wear.
Although it is heard that there are other dogs at various traffic Police points but are not that popular and efficient like “Sudda”.
