DOG MASSACRE AT HORANA

Dogs have been massacred for barking and attacking  the cows owned by Provincial Councilor worker

Our last article was about a pet dog that is very close to human beings. Yet an unfortunate story of more than 25 dogs been massacred was reported from Horana.
Dogs and cats have fallen dead on Temple Road in Yalagala, Horana from last Saturday night. The residents suspect that the dogs have been poisoned. The dead dogs have been piled on the two sides of the road.
As reported by the residents, this had been done by a person who own paddy and cows. This particular person, who is said to be working as a driver in the Provincial Council had been cursing the dogs for barking and for trying to attack his cows.
The residents of that area suspect that thus particular man has poisoned the dogs. Dogs and cats have been drooling phlegm from Saturday night and they have fallen dead on that night. With the numbers who have fallen dead in the jungle and the ones who have fallen dead on the street numbers exceed twenty five.
The residents report that not only dogs and cats but also birds have fallen dead on the street.
