A call to Anjana’s wife saying that he will not allow him to be identified if the caller was paid Rs 10 lacks.

“Palamkada Geetha” bandits have been caught by the police

Anjana liyanage, who had been caught for the rape case of a 14 year old, is still in remand and his identification parade is to be held tomorrow.  A team who had attempted to take advantage from this situation had called Anjana’s wife saying that they are from the girl’s party. They have said that they will not allow him to be identified him if they are given Rs 10 lacks for it.
Anjana’s wife had suspected them since they have called several times bothering her. Afterwards, she had made a complaint to the Hungama Police station.
The police had drawn a plan to catch the bandits. They have told Anjana’s wife to tell the bandits that she is willing to pay Rs 5 lacks first and she had asked them to come near Tangalle Primary School.
The Police had disguised as civilians and they have given a bag full of paper to look as if she is carrying a bag of money.
The two bandits have arrived on time to take the money from the disguised Police personnel had caught them red handed. The police had been able to reveal that this mission had been planned and led by a thug named “Palamkada Geetha” who is in Tangalle prison.
It was also reported that he had been talking to Anjana in prison and had planned this action to earn easy money from Anjana’s wife.
