‘Adare Ahasa Tharam’ Tele actor caught for act of burglary performed during day time:
Two burglars who had very shrewdly burgled many houses during day time when nobody were in the houses had been caught by the Sapugakanda Police officers the day before yesterday.
When they were caught the Police had noticed one face was familiar as he has acted in the mega Tele drama ‘Adare Ahasa Tharam’ which was telecast in the Sirasa TV channel every night recently.
It is reliably learnt that he is only 22 years old and he had portrayed the role of the ‘Manamalaya’ in the Tele drama. His colleague burglar is supposed to be a painter by profession in a car reparing garage. They were arrested while they were staying in a house in Kandana.
They have successfully carried out several thefts in houses when they find that nobody is inside. They have done several such thefts without been caught for about two years. It is learnt that they rob articles like jewellery and mobile phones. They were used to pawn the jewellery stolen to obtain cash while the Mobile phones robbed had been sold to shops who deal with mobile phones.
The money thus collected they had confessed that they have spent on ‘women’. The Tele actor is still in the custody of the Sapugaskanda Police station, while investigations are proceeding.
