VICTOR ENDS HIS SOLO MUSIC CONCERT “SA”

Victor Ratnayake has decided to bring to an end his “SA” solo music recital to a complete end:

Victor Ratnayake has decided to bring to a close his prolonged musical solo recital “SA” on the 20th of July with his live concert at the Lumbini Theatre from which it commenced in the year 1973.This would be the 1500th time this solo recital he had sung in all parts of Sri Lanka and several parts in the globe.
It was the view of Victor Ratnayake, expressed sometime ago when ageing so many singers continue to sing for audiences without having the same ability. He says they should not sing when they think that they cannot perform to the satisfaction of the fans and audiences.
On the July 19th his “SA’ recital was held under the patronage of the Hon. President at the “Nelum Pokuna” performing arts theatre. The penultimate “SA” recital is to be held at Maharagama Youth centre Hall under the patronage of ‘Music Maestro’ W.D. Amaradeva on the July  20th whilst the final recital of “SA” is scheduled to be held at the unsophisticated Lumbini Theatre from where he commenced his “SA” solo recital under the distinguished patronage of professor and genius lyrics writer Dr Sunil Ariyaratne on the  July 21st instant.
