Member of Pradeshiya Sabha makes a huge row at the Police station.
Member of Provincial Council who had made a huge row at a Police station had been taken before Anuradhapura courts and he had been ordered to be sent to remand prison.
It was reported that this member of Provincial Council had burst into the Police station on behalf of one of his supporters who had been drunk and caught regarding vehicles.
He had made a big row at the Police station shouting:
“Why do you care when my driver drinks and drives…I have called you all to set him free…Do I have to come all the way to for this purpose to set him free…”
He had tried to clash with some of the Police inspectors at the Police Vehicle Department while shouting at them using filthy words.
Edward Gayan Chamara is the relevant UNP member of the Pradeshiya Sabha. He is a resident of Anuradhapura Thammannawa area. He had been taken before Anuradhapura courts and the Magistrate who had ordered him to be sent him to remand prison until 10th of next month.
