• After Fonseka was freed mud slinging posters have started today.
• “I will be in my on party. Not with Sajith’s, Ranil’s or the JVP”.
• No security for Fonseka yet.

“The posters say the serpent who does not have gratitude is freed”, were what the wordings of posters said. These were prominently displayed in Colombo cities and the suburbs.

WILL NOT JOIN SAJITH’S OR THE JVP Factions
At a press conference last evening the former Army Commander had disclosed that it is certain that he will be into politics soon. But he categorically said it ill not be with Sajith’s,Ranil’s factions or with the JVP. He will be with the Democratic National Party, from where he as elected to Parliament under the ‘Swan’ symbol. He disclosed that he has no intention in joining any other party and he do not like to work under anyone. He said that he is happy that Jayantha Ketagoda is representing his seat in the Parliament. I will be with the DNA party.

FONSEKA HAS NO SECURITY:
It is reliably learnt that the former Commander of the Army Sarath Fonseka who was freed yesterday is still without any security. When the Police media spokesman was contacted he had said a request in this regard has not yet made by the retired Commander. If he needs security he should make a request to the Ministry of Defense, which he had not made yet.
When questions ere posed by media personnel the former Commander had revealed that he is not scared to walk amongst the people without security. He was certain that the people would not harm him.
