Safe return of Keheliya back to Sri Lanka:

The Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella ho had a nasty mishap by falling from the third floor of the hotel balcony over three months ago, at Melbourne in Australia. He returned to Sri Lanka this morning. The media personnel were able to capture some of his pictures at the airport.
He had gone to Melbourne to attend to one of son’s matters. When he had stepped out of the third floor of his hotel room, on to the balcony to smoke a cigarette. The balcony which had not been able to carry his weight as it was in a slightly decayed condition. When the balcony was about to collapse he had tried to get inside the hotel room, but his attempt had failed as the sliding doors in the hotel room had got locked.
He had fallen from the 3rd floor to the ground floor on to a flower bed and sustained slight injuries to his head and major damages to his legs. The hotel staff had immediately taken him to the nearest hospital, ‘Alfred’ for treatment.
After over three months of treatment he has recovered to a great extent and had on his way come on a wheel chair and after the customs formalities he had been helped by two persons to get into the vehicle. During his absence his work was overlooked by Lakhsman Yapa Abeywardena and is due to take up duties soon. He is due to address a press briefing today.
