Demise of Sathish PereraPopular singer Sathish Perera had passed away in the wee hours of this morning at a private hospital in Colombo.
He is the son of famous singer Shelton Perera and is the sister of singer Anuradha Perera. He had died after a brief period of illness while taking treatment at a private hospital in Colombo. He was only 42 years old at the time of his demise.
He was popular as a singer having sung most of his Father’s popular songs such as:
“Avasan liyumai obta liyannai”
“Amba naram kesel Del”
“Maha Muhudu Vimane”
“Edodaha yanno”
“Obe neela desa”........ Are some of the songs of his he sung to become a popular singer.
