They had taken the marriage rather early and had gone to spend their honeymoon to hotel Renuka. Before long Sudarshini, had proposed to Gnanchandran that, her wish was to go back to UK. For this the latter had disagreed and they have had a heated argument while they were both drunk. When Gnanachandran could not control his temper he had used a knife supplied by the hotel to use to cut fruits to stab her neck, through the injuries sustained she had succumbed to death. This stabbing had been done through anger which had erupted abruptly.
It is learnt that after the tragic deaths of his wife and children he was in a depressed state of mind and used to lose temper very soon. When he was produced before the Magistrate, he had ordered for a medical report in regard to his mental position.
