DINESH’S VEHICLE IN ROAD MISHAP

Minister’s car had collided with a motor cyclist. The rider’s leg has got fractured:

Minister Dinesh Gunawardena while travelling in his car had collided with a motor cyclist at Warakapola yesterday.
He was on his way to Dambulla to attend to a official function. It is learnt that the car at the time of the collision the vehicle had been travelling at a fast speed. The motor cyclist had been riding his motor cycle on his way for work. After he was knocked down he had been and thrown away. His by name is one Sanath Premachandra, a youngster.
At that time the Minister and the driver had taken interest in regard to the cyclist’s injuries and had taken steps to admit him to Kegalle hospital.
The Police had taken in the driver for questioning and released later. It had been concluded that owing to the negligence of the driver the youngster has suffered serious injuries to a leg.
