WOMAN FOUND DEAD AT RENUKA HOTEL ROOM

A dead body of a woman at Renuka Hotel

A dead body had been found out when the hotel workers had opened the door since nobody had come out of the room for several days.
A female dead body has been found inside a room at Kollupitiya Renuka hotel. It is reported that this lady who had been a Tamil had stayed at Room number 01 in the 1st floor and she had been killed by injuring the neck with a sharp instrument. According to the data given to the hotel, she had been known to be one Kanasabage Sudarshani Sahila, a 48 year old from Jaffna who had come from abroad.
It is reported that she had been killed between 23rd and 28th and the hotel staff had opened the door since they have suspected because no one had come out of the room for a long time and then they have suspected of something out of the ordinary.
It is reported that there had been another person who had shared the room with this lady and it is suspected that he has had a definite connection with this murder.
It is been found that this lady had lived in Britain over the past few years and she had come to Sri Lanka few weeks ago.
Kollupitiya Police is carrying out further investigations of this case.
