PRIME MINISTER’S HELICOPTER IS MISSING

Helicopter had left leaving the Prime Minster in the lurch

The Prime Minister, D.M Jayaratne had to face a predicament at a ceremony held at the Buddhist University in Anuradhapura.
The reason behind this was that the helicopter which took him to Anuradhapura had gone back to Colombo without informing him.
Buddhist monks from France and California who have joined the Prime Minister to Anuradhapura had to follow along land routes to get back to Colombo.
The Prime Minster had made a statement recently stating that he is the person who had made a most air journeys in Sri Lanka.
