MILITARY TRAINING FOR GOVERNMENT Ministers & MPs

Military training for the Ministers and Members of Parliament of the Government

 A two day workshop is being organized to give military training to the all the parliamentarians and the Ministers of the Government during the first week of March.
This training is scheduled to be held at Diyatalawa Military School with the participation of President Mahinda Rajapakse and the Secretary of Defense, Gotabhaya Rajapakse as well. Even though this training was initially planned to be held at Nuwara Eliya, the venue had been changed according to a proposal made by the Parliamentarian Namal Rajapakse. 
Even though the Ministers and the government M.P’s have not been told the objective of this training, it is reported that the majority will participate since this has been an order from the powerful top personnel.
This training has been scheduled to be held on the 3rd of March and even though the parliamentarians are not very keen, it is reported that the actresses who are also parliamentarians such as Malini Fonseka and Upeksha Swarnamali are getting ready to participate along with the Senior Ministers who are in their old age.
