TANGALLE INCIDENT: RUSSIAN GIRL RAPED?

Was the British National killed as he objected to the raping of his beautiful Russian girl friend?

The incident that took place at the ‘Nature resort’ in Tangalle, where a British National was killed is interpreted in different ways. Initially it was reported that the drunken Provincial Council Member and his colleagues had shot him after an argument they have had amongst themselves and the British National had come to intervene at that time was shot.
Later it was revealed that the 32 year old British National could not bear when his beautiful 23 year old Russian girl friend was subjected to abuse by those drunken crowd, and through anger he had fought with them which had led to the shooting incident.
At around 3 a.m. when the incident took place the Russian girl had sustained serious injuries to her head had given a statement, the details of which were insufficient as she was not in a stable state of mind to give a proper statement.
The Russian girl is presently been treated at the ‘Colombo Hospitals’ Private Hospital and is now in a state to furnish a statement. She had told that at the ‘Nature Resort’ in Tangalle, a group of people had tried to rape her and when her British National boy friend had tried to intervene he was shot by them. It is reported by the Police that a Judicial medical investigations report would be taken. If needed the Provincial Council Member and his colleagues arrested would be subjected to DNA investigations.
