RANIL’S SIRASA STORY

A stone thrown by Ranil to ‘Sirasa’:

Today a media conference was held by Ranil to discuss about yesterday’s Srikotha incident. To this media conference Ranil had brought a stone. While the media conference was in progress he asked ‘who has come from Sirasa’.
When the ‘Sirasa’  representative identified himself. He said ‘this is the stone that was thrown at me ‘ which escaped me and a Buddhist statue was hit which caused some damages’. The ‘Sirasa’ and my Motherland hurled stones at me. He told ‘please take this stone and hand over to Kelly Maharaja’. Then he said ‘no I will keep it and hand over to him personally as a new year present’.
The stone that was brought by Ranil was kept on the table until the completion of the media conference. He told that ‘Sirasa’ and the ‘Mawbima’ paper had been partial to Sajith and allegations were aired to express his views.
