Penalty for exceeding 100 KMPH speed-Operations Director
“I accelerated up to 180 KMPH. I never felt it”

It had been emphasised by the related authorities that the maximum speed on the new Southern Express Highway is only 100 KMPH. If anyone exceeds this limit there are equipment in the possession of the related authorities to detect and penalise the drivers, the Operations Director of the new Southern Express Highway B.D.K.Bandara has announced and made an open warning to the public in the media.
In the meantime a van had met with an accident yesterday the 28th for having exceeded this maximum speed limit. In complete contrast to the basic rules the Minister of Transport, Kumar Welgama at a meeting praising the new highway had said “I accelerated up to 180 KMPH without feeling anything having driven along it”

ReplyDeleteThis guy is worse than a donkey, this is one of the problems of many, Sri Lankans are dumn and stupid, moron don't you think there are highways all around the world far better, 5,6,7 lanes in one direction, none of the people, specially the govt officials never ever break the speed limit.

what about VIP,should they pay -should they obey rules and regulations.
ReplyDeleteThese morons think that they can break the law and talk about it publicly. Acutally they can. Because this is Sri Lanka. I'm sure many others who are in the similar possitions have done the same thing and talk about it proudly.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to break laws, please come to Sri Lanka. We are opening not only highways but also modern brothels with casino etc. etc. Why do you go to Thailand. We have imported prostitutes with AIDS or without depending on the desire of customers.

This is because the people who govern the country have no class. They are all of low backgrounds. They have no respectability and we the people have to putup with these thugs silently. They do not know the meaning of being upright and straightforward in life and they call themselves buddhists. It is a disgrace to the religion and the country. If they were Buddhists they will know the law of Karma. They are not because they are of low breeding.
