CEB EMPLOYEES ON SICK LEAVE TODAY

CEB employees are sick

Today all CEB employees have sent sick notes and hence not reported for work. It is learnt that there could be an electricity failure island wide.
The reason for this conflict is that the government had failed to pay their salary arrears. However the officials of the Ministry confess that this is not a case of non payment of payment of arrears.
Although this token strike may not have a complete breakdown, but in the event of a sudden breakdown there will not be a breakdown service available to restore electricity.
