A TOOTH IN THE BREAD

A tooth found inside a loaf of bread

It is reported from Ihalagama area in Nikaweratiya that a tooth had been found inside a loaf of bread by one Premawathie who supplies food to those working in a paddy field. She had bought 3 loaves of bread from a nearby boutique to supply meals to those working in the paddy field. It was to her surprise that she had detected a ‘tooth’ inside one loaf of bread. She immediately had reported it to the owner of the boutique, who had requested her to bring and show it.
Instead she had made a complaint to the Police who had deployed the assistance of the Public Health Inspectors who had inspected the bakery and it is learnt that legal action would be instituted shortly against the bakery owner.
