Karu to be the leader of the UNP?

The present Deputy Leader of the UNP,Karu Jayasuriya has shown his willingness to take over the leadership of the UNP.In this connection member of Parliament Sajith Premadasa has added at a press conference that he is taking full responsibility in this regard.
The UNP had been losing election after election for almost a decade. The majority of the UNP stalwarts is of the view that a change is inevitable. There is tension mounting in the party after losing the last Local Council  elections.
