Panic in Karnataka town Limits Owing To a Elephant Rampage.
Last Wednesday morning a mother elephant and a male baby calf had emerged from a jungle nearby to a town in Karnataka and had made the people to go wild in excitement. When they got disoriented the baby elephant was running amok all over the streets. The baby elephant had attacked an innocent domestic buffalo and then a domestic cow critically injuring the animal and then tried to attack a moving bus and after which man who confronted was fatally injured. The baby elephant was calmed down only when 5 tranquilizer darts were fired. The male baby elephant was taken to a camp and would be released to the jungle along with the mother elephant.
