The dead body of the OL student who left home saying he was going to a seminar was found on Moratuwa beach.

The disappearance of a 16-year-old school student, who left home to attend a seminar in preparation for this year's G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination, has tragically ended. Moratuwa Headquarters Police state that the body of the student, who studied at a well-known school in the Horana area, was found washed ashore on the Madangawatta beach in Moratuwa.

The deceased student has been identified as Miyuru Nimsara. Police investigations have revealed that he left his home on the 25th, stating that he was going to attend a seminar held in the Horana area.

As the student who left home did not return, his parents had filed a missing person's complaint with the Horana Headquarters Police regarding the matter.

Meanwhile, residents spotted the body on the Madangawatta beach in Moratuwa. After they informed the 119 emergency call unit, Moratuwa Headquarters Police commenced further investigations into the incident.
