Fatima, who sold drugs hidden in her bra, sentenced to life in prison.

A woman who was found guilty of trafficking heroin, cleverly concealed in the brassiere she was wearing, has been sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labor by the Colombo High Court.

The woman subjected to this sentence was a mother of three named Mohammed Jahir Fathima Risana, a resident of Wellampitiya, known by the alias 'Kudu Butti'.

The relevant verdict was pronounced by Colombo High Court Judge Ms. Lanka Jayaratne, who heard this case.

After determining that the charges brought against the defendant woman by the prosecution had been proven beyond a reasonable doubt, the High Court Judge sentenced the defendant to this life imprisonment with hard labor.
